I fell in love with Japan when I visited in 2014. If I weren’t working for INPAC, I’d love to spend most of my time there. However, if I wasn’t working at INPAC, I’m sure my life would be mundane.
I love helping our clients pursue their dreams. The only reason why I wouldn’t be at INPAC would be if I chose to retire. I’m a workaholic, though, so I know I’ll always work in some capacity.
The best advice I ever received was from a life coach who is now one of my great friends: “Life is like a wheel of balance — each spoke represents physical, spiritual, financial, family and community balance.”
Life can be busy. It’s so easy to get caught up on just one aspect of life and let the others suffer or fall short. Trying to create a balanced wheel in all areas of life can help make life more fulfilling. However, creating that balance is easier said than done.
Realizing that everyone is human helped the entire INPAC ohana become better planners because it’s not always about the numbers — it’s about our clients’ wheels and how we can make the most out of each spoke.
I got familiar with the concept of “being in business” while growing up in the family fish business on Kauai. Only now have I really come to understand the true meaning of being in a business that is worth being in. There is something so fulfilling about designing wealth plans that can help our clients enjoy every stage of life.
In 2010, my mom suffered a debilitating stroke. Faced with costly caregiving expenses and with little financial resources available, I saw my parents’ quality of life decline.
Determined to help them, I pursued a career in wealth advising. I strive to not only be a valuable resource, but also a trusted advisor who helps people plan for their future to help them avoid the same financial fate as my parents.
Every day is a gift. I am truly thankful for everything in my life — from my wonderful wife, Mayo, and my children, Ai and Riku — to good health, great relationships and the opportunity to make a tremendous difference in people’s lives.
A baseball coach once told me “not to have any regrets”. That is something that I took to heart and still live by to this day. To me, having no regrets means giving 100 percent effort, always being prepared and doing my absolute best every day.
In 2011, I was living in New York handling asset management. At the time, I thought I was a financial wizard. But no one, including a wizard, could have been prepared for the September 11 attack. It opened my eyes and showed me how much I still needed to learn. So, I left my corporate job, learned more about financial planning, moved to Hawaii and became a wealth advisor.
I know how financially difficult it can be when you’re a Japanese person living in America. That's why I work with a lot of first-generation Americans from Japan. I want to help other people face and prepare for the unknown.
I love being an independent advisor; it is the only way I can sit on the same side of the table as my clients and provide advice that has their best interests in mind. Every day, there are new things to learn in the financial world.
“It is never too late to try to learn new things or pursue new hobbies”. Since I first heard this, I’ve always been open to learning. I started fishing once a week, playing baseball, golfing, meeting new people, reading history books and more. I think it’s equally important to make sure you’re having fun at the same time.
My family name, Kita, in Chinese means pleasure and happiness. I try to live my life like that.
What I love most about INPAC is the small, close-knit family culture within the office. Everyone works well together, and we all know that each and every one of us has an impact on our clients’ lives.
I am passionate about having new experiences and constantly learning more about myself. Every year, I travel with my family to different places around the world to experience new cultures and cuisine.
I love helping people. As Zig Ziglar once said, “You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.” It’s amazing to me that I get to help people pursue their financial goals, and along the way, I get to raise a family and build a spectacular life and network in Hawaii.

If I weren’t working at INPAC, I would be helping people get in shape, get out of their comfort zones, and helping them find their adventure. 3 years ago, I found my passion in obstacle course racing and extreme endurance events through inspiration from my son. Over the past 3 years I have created 2 separate free online groups that has helped countless people get in shape while having fun, doing more than they ever thought possible.
This passion comes from my love for helping people. Being a part of the INPAC ohana allows me to help clients pursue their financial goals. Seeing their happy faces is the most amazing feeling in the world!
I am passionate about helping others. My goal is to be a resource for my clients, so that I can provide them with the best tools and knowledge available. I truly believe you can do anything you set your mind to, no matter how crazy the goal may seem. I see many people significantly underestimating what they are capable of, due to either lack of confidence, or, more commonly, complacency, due to the fear of uncertainty. There is a saying, "If a goal doesn't scare you, it's not big enough". Too many people are alive, but not living. They set low, safe goals, just staying in their comfort zone, limiting themselves, when they could be and do so much more. I work with my clients to dream big, set a plan of action to pursue those goals, and make sure they stay the course so they can live their best lives and be the best versions of themselves.
The best advice I ever received was, in order to succeed, you need to set high, clear goals, and achieving those goals would only be accomplished through consistency and persistence. This is true for all aspects of your life, but especially financially. That is how I help my clients. I help them dream and set high goals, then work with them on a continued, consistent basis, holding them accountable, to pursue their goals.

Having 10+ years’ experience in the banking industry, I have been fortunate enough to meet and help many people from all stages of life with their financial goals. Through this experience I realized one important thing was missing which was a “plan” for our clients. At the bank I was able to help people by offering products and services that could benefit them however, I realized we could be of much greater service to our clients by building off of a solid foundation of their dreams, goals, and desires which is a “Financial Plan”.
I wanted to shift my practice to helping our clients more holistically, and at INPAC that’s exactly what we do! We help design these plans for every single one of our clients, and the best part at no cost to them!
I love the team. We are all very supportive of each other and work hard to help our clients pursue their goals. We are like a family.
I'm passionate about helping others. Whether it's helping people pursue their financial goals, or simply making someone smile and making their day brighter.

I had a great career at Hawaiian Electric Company. When I retired at 55, I did some soul searching to figure out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I discovered early on that I had a servant heart. Working at INPAC Wealth Solutions provides me with the venue to fulfill my need to help others. Financial stability is very important for everyone to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
I am most grateful for my family. Even when I have a tough day at work, seeing my family relieves me of the stress that I felt.
I am the newbie at INPAC. The team here is very helpful and willing to teach me. Furthermore, the skills and experiences that I gained from my previous career enables me to contribute to this business. There is great excitement for the future of this practice.

I have always wanted to help others and make a positive and significant difference in their lives. This was something I pursued with a passion for my entire career as an insurance and financial services professional. 36 years later, I still find it extremely rewarding and fulfilling to help people prepare and protect themselves from life's uncertainties, and to help them achieve financial security and financial success. This is definitely something I continue to enjoy doing each day as an INPAC financial advisor!
I am very passionate about helping people help themselves. We all have such amazing potential to achieve so many great things. Negative thoughts, fears, and worry can have devastating effects on our psyche and ultimately, our destiny. I know how it feels to be afraid, worried, and alone. I also know how good if feels to have support, guidance, advice, and mentorship. I was very fortunate to have had the help and support of wonderful people at the times in my life when I needed it the most. It is my greatest passion to pay this precious gift forward and help as many as I can, whether it be through my work as a financial advisor, as a volunteer for charities or youth sports, or simply as a friend.
Every single team member at INPAC has a very sincere and deep desire to positively impact and truly make a difference in our client's lives. We all do our absolute best to help our clients achieve financial success and help them to be able to live their dreams. I love being with a firm that helps make people's dreams come true!
My family and friends. From a young age, I didn't want anyone or anything to hold me back, so I moved to Mississippi for college. While there, Hurricane Katrina hit; I realized family and friends are not anchors holding me down, but rather vessels aiding in this journey called life.
After graduating, I returned to Hawaii to be closer to my family. As for my friends, I’m grateful to have the “Wednesday Night Crew”, making our rounds in Honolulu and supporting locally-owned businesses. My absolute prize in this life is my daughter, Dylan.
I love the team here at INPAC. Everyone is so supportive of each other, both professionally and personally — from taking care of client matters to working out and spending weekends together. We’re truly a family.
If money weren’t an issue, then I'd be running a nonprofit no-kill animal shelter. During my college years, I worked at The Animal Medical Center of Hattiesburg, a no-kill shelter.
I adopted two of my dogs, Apollo and Titan, through the shelter. Both moved home to Hawaii with me and lived to the ripe old age of 14. There's definitely something special when you see animals find their "fur"ever home. Loving them until they find a home is priceless.
I love that we help generations of families improve their financial health and pursue their goals. I also love working with such a great team. We all work hard and encourage each other to go after our dreams.
If I wasn't working at INPAC, I would be in an industry that makes a lasting positive impact on other people’s lives. I also enjoy working out, doing yoga and motivating my coworkers to exercise, so I might also work in the fitness industry.
I feel grateful for everything: my health, my home and to be a part of a wonderful team where we all support one another and want to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

I was adopted from Japan as a baby, so I am most grateful for the life I have been able to live. While it was not always without hardships, I am still certain that I have had more opportunities and freedoms than I would have had otherwise.
I am passionate about video games! The people I have met and the friends I have made through playing video games have been some of the longest and closest relationships of mine. From playing, to watching professional players and tournaments, to sharing my game play online with others… many aspects of the video game community keep me hooked.
Honestly, I'd just be gaming. I'm grateful that INPAC has given me a chance to be a part of this awesome team!

If I was not working at INPAC, I would more than likely be volunteering in some capacity. Over the past several years, I have taken on various volunteer roles in our local schools, which led to being President of my daughter's school Parent Teach Association (PTA) for the past two years. I also have been volunteering at my church for over five years. I have a servant's heart and desire to give back to my community as much as possible.
I am most grateful for my family and friends. I have a wonderful husband of 17 years and two daughters, ages 13 and 10. My daughters keep me very busy with their active schedules, but what we enjoy the most is doing something together as a family. We were very fortunate to live in several different states and cities in the US and made lifelong friends in each of these places. I'm always grateful for a visit, phone call, or text that keeps me laughing and energized.
I love the teamwork at INPAC. Everyone is willing to take on new responsibility and help each other out. It is a great environment, and I am thankful I work here.
